Nursery / EYFS
Our Nursery/EYFS Provision
Our Nursery-aged children, Reception-aged children and Year One children work alongside each other three days a week within our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit.
We have created an educational, play based, emotionally and physically secure environment where Nursery and Reception aged children are totally integrated and where children who remain with us from Nursery to Reception will not have to experience another move until the start of Year 2.
Beckbury CofE Primary School Nursery has a separate admission application form and places for the Nursery must be applied for. Please contact Mrs Erica Skidmore, School Office Manager, for further information and an application form.
Please note: even if your child attends the School Nursery you still have to apply for a Reception place through the Local Authority.
Nursery Hours
Nursery is open on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Beckbury.
There are three sessions available for nursery on these days:
1) Morning session begins at 8:50am and ends at 12:00 noon
2) Morning session including lunch, begins at 8:50am and ends at 1:15pm
3) All day session, begins at 8:50am and ends at 3:15pm
There is up to 18.75 hours provision per week available to nursery children
