The Beckbury School Association (or BSA for short) is a friendly groups of parents who raise money to enhance the experience our children have at school.
We raise money through events including barbecues at local events, cake sales and raffles. We also like to run fun events such as an Easter competition, non-uniform days, a book swap and parents’ social.
We work with school to support them where there are funding gaps. In recent years we have paid for transport for school trips, playground equipment, dictionaries, atlases, garden equipment and recorders.
We also run a private Facebook Group which can be handy for making contact with other parents and any questions when school is closed.
We always need volunteers so please let us know if you’d like to get involved on the committee or help us out at events! We are very informal and tend to have our meetings at the pub or on zoom. The teachers can let you know who is currently on the committee.
