Welcome to the Beckbury C of E Primary School website
Any parent who is a critical worker to the COVID-19 efforts who needs to use the provision provided in their child's own school MUST pre-book their child's place by emailing the school's administrator on firstname.lastname@example.org
Currently very few parents are requiring this provision but we appreciate that family circumstances may change during this difficult period and a parent may become a critical worker. Please email your school's admin address if you need to inform us of a change.
To ensure the health and safety of school staff we are currently operating a skeleton staff on a rota basis and the school will only open if childcare sessions are required.
Return to school
As Nursery, Reception, year 1 and Year 6 begin to return to school the week commencing 8th June 2020 we have produced a short fil to welcome the children back to school. Click on the link below to view on the school you tube channel.
Each week Miss Docherty will be uploading a video of her reading a story online.

Victory in Europe
Friday 8th May 2020 - a day of commemoration and celebration.
This Friday, people from across the world will remember those that died in the war and also plan activities that celebrate the ending of fighting and the hope for continued peace.
At school we would have marking this special, historic date with the children by all dressing up in red, whiter and blue, flying bunting and having WW2 themed activities and picnics to show our appreciation for all those from the Second World War generation who sacrificed so much. We hope you will all have a lovely time at home instead - your children may still like to dress in red, white and blue, make bunting and picnic! Whatever you do we hope the sun shines and you have a good time, keeping safe and well.
